She was doing so well until that happened, and it melted away her facade instantly. She couldn't help but tighten her hold of her, it may be a bit too strong but she couldn't help herself. She was going to try to let herself indulge, just this once at least. A small chuckle escaped her lips at being asked how she was, she was supposed to be the one asking, but why not humor the other?

She let Cosima finish her tangent, she missed that so she wasn't going to interrupt it. Once she was over she answered simply, "I'm fine, really," while placing down the book in her other hand.
