He rose to his feet easily enough, snatching one of the clean rags as he stood. Barefoot, he picks his thoughtlessly careful way across the damp stones to hand it over, complete with a boyish smile.

"Germy's no good is what it is. Thanks!" As if that were an adequate explanation. "The outdoors are great, but it's better to invite a minimum of them indoors where people are living. It's even more important for the injured or ill. Germs are part of what make people sick, or lead to infections."
