It's not often the templars of Hasmal Circle had to use that kind of tone on Myr--but he'd gotten caught out in adolescent stupidity just often enough that Simon's command evokes an instant frisson of fear down his spine. The surprise of it--he hadn't even known he was being tracked!--makes the feeling all the worse. He'd never in all his life in the Circle seriously contemplated escaping, but for a split second he wonders if this is the kind of terror runaways felt when they came to the end of the line. Probably worse. He, after all, has a right to be here. Nominally.
Without protest he drops his staff, keeping the toe of one boot in contact with it so he'll know where it is--if Simon lets him take it up again--and puts up his hands with fingers splayed to show himself harmless. He knows better than to say a word in his defense, to try and talk back. At the very best that only makes the apprehending templar frustrated with you and delays resolution of the encounter, even if it's all a mistake.
...Well. Maybe not such a mistake. He did chase off a guard and enter the forest when he wasn't supposed to. He probably has this coming.
