A tattooed woman in furs and skins with a large sword strapped to her back rides atop a painted elk, peering up at the towers with both awe and unease. She's never seen anything quite like this place, and isn't sure what to make of it just yet. The discerning might notice a faint green flicker in one of her palms; she's yet another shardbearer.
Forcing herself to focus rather than just spend her time gawking, Skadi looks around and her ice-blue eyes settle on the nearest person. Guiding her mount over, she flashes a smile, speaking with a thick Avvar accent. "Two questions for you; where can get Kodlak here settled and where can I find the best view this place has to offer?"

As one sporting a shard, it's easy to see Skadi's role in the mission...or would, at the very end of it. Until it's actually time to seal the rift, she refrains using her shard to interact with the rift in any way. Instead, the Avvar woman swings her two-handed sword at the demons with enthusiasm, and her unusual fighting style is made manifest when she cloaks herself in arcane energies that seem to be responsible for her being relatively untouched despite relatively light armor. A more offensive side is shown when she draws several demons over to her before unleashing a burst of Fade energy, tearing them apart. Only when there are no other demons to face does she reluctantly raise her hand to seal the rift, frowning down at her palm and rubbing it afterward.
