Barnabas looked around his shop and shrugged. "You've seen the rifters that've been dropping in, sometimes literaly. I'm just helping them out. They show up with no money, no food, no other clothes, and I'm just doing the right thing by getting them on their feet again and taking things that they have no use for. Amazing what they have..."
Barnabas looks at the little figurine that Varric is playing with and grins. "Ooh, that! That's a fun little gizmo. Not sure what it does, but the word written on it is apparently a magic word. Means Hello AND Goodbye! The guy who sold it to me also sold me this..."
Barnabas ducks behind his counter for a moment, and pulls out a short sleeved button-up shirt. There's a repeating pattern of flowers and leaves on a bright red background. "Neat huh? He called it a Hawaiian Shirt. Want it? I'll make ya a good deal."
