"A little over a month and a half," Klaus explained.

He was, for a moment, antsy. He was happy to see Leo, but the circumstances were more than a little worrying. If Leo was here, he wasn't in Jerusalem's Lot where he was much needed. This was more than a cause for concern.

"Forgive me for asking, but how are things back home? Is Steven managing Libra well?"

Despite their many, many differences, there was one thing Steven and Klaus had in common and that was that they were in the habit of nearly working themselves to death.

"He was not pushing you too hard, I hope?"

Another worry he had. Steven had far fewer qualms about pushing people to their absolute limits than Klaus did.
