according to my handy dandy chart, if Elmo was Thingol's brother, and Oropher and Galadhon were brothers, then Elrond/Elros and Thranduil are third cousins.

sure! when wren disses ferelden (or nevarra, or [ insert other country orlais has invaded ]) it's more conversational filler than it is much else — she tends to use it when she doesn't know someone so well as she might, as a look-we're-on-the-same-side kind of nudge.

BUT there's plenty that could be interesting discussion fodder between them!

i think she'd find it interesting that christine considers herself a knight-enchanter despite an aversion to violence. if it came up she'd have some questions about how and why christine pursued it. a number of her important CR have been shaped by training for it in the circle, and the intensity of that preparation's been on her mind.

Most of that credit ought to go the the Dalish clans, who are the most precious little family.

Thranduil would definitely coax her in to his office. Forces doesn't have an official head right now, so he's trying to help pick up the slack. He's also been interviewing Rifters, so that's an in as well.

LOL, the short answer is because it provides a constant barrier around herself. ;) But yeah, she'll discuss it! Long answer should be fun to talk about, because it involves her having spoken to an Avvar augur and him telling her to fight to protect people.

It's a spirit of Faith! I chose it because Christine can be very prideful and corrupted faith spirits turn into pride demons. ICly, it's because she questioned her Andrastian faith and that caught the spirit's interest and made it want to help.

Yes, definitely! I had such a hard time keeping up with anything in that open; it got really overwhelming, so we can maybe do something closed or have another setup. He's used to trying to put a good foot forward for templars and do some outreach to people who have reason to fear them, but he knows comparatively almost nothing about the Dalish in return, so I think it could be really good.

There's a separate catch-up thing for aftermath future plots where Yngvi's dad is coming to meet Petra and Kit so he can be terrible in public in his most charming schmoozing ways if you'd be interested in that? (A dwarf of quality like him has to come meet these fine Inquisition folks as his son wills the floor to swallow him.)

Naval presence have been having some depressing discussions about the red lyrium kraken/red lyrium in the waters in general, what better way to balance that since no else here really talks about seafaring Thedosian folk.
