A strangely savage act, incongruous with the soft spoken man Mhavos has always seen Ellis as. Then again, the man is a Warden, a hardened warrior. Still, the image of Ellis with his teeth bared sticks oddly in Mhavos' mind.

"I wish I had something for you," Mhavos says, and it's true. If he could share his daggers, he'd be an entirely different person, wouldn't he? Not a better one, but perhaps more clean. Philosophically, of course.
