[ The first thing Adrasteia does is cast a barrier on Ellis so that he doesn't have to worry as much about the next set of ice shards. She thinks she can hear a roar of what is most likely a rage demon from further along the path, past the ice hag, but is hoping they can deal with this particular demon first before the second comes upon them. With that in mind, she casts an immolation circle in the space between the demon and Ellis, since it'll do more damage than just tossing a fireball at the bouncing, moving target.
Freezing it in place would be ideal, to let Ellis hit it a few times, but using ice is out of the question. While she ponders this the demon throws another ice shard, this time squarely towards Adrasteia's chest, but she ends up blocking it with her arm and staff.
Which is now so cold to hold her gloved hands are burning with frostbite. ]
