[River tends to keep eyes on any movement in the tavern, but it's especially hard to miss the singer as she sings and sways. A soft target, he considers silently. If someone wanted to disrupt--

River shakes his head. He's not on a mission; there's no need to think about anyone as a target.

Still, he watches her without overtly eyeing her as she makes her way over to his side of the tavern and sets herself down next to him. He raises an eyebrow at her but can't help but smile at her.

I could tell. Pieces of you look ready to fall apart.

[He sets down another few coins for the singer.]

River. [He offers a hand.]
