"Got it." One, two and she groans with the exertion as she forces up against the bark, feels it digging into her palms. Her hands are already scratched and grazed, and the strain presses the weight of the tree harder into the existing bruising on her hands. None of that makes for a good reason to stop trying, though, and so she grits her teeth until the stranger speaks. The effort brings an orange-gold glow to her eyes, traces of the wolf shining through.

"Yeah," a breath of a word, as Red quickly scrambles out from where she was, rolling free of the tree and branches. She needs to stand, but honestly she just had a tree on top of her, so maybe he'll forgive her for just taking a moment to actually breathe.

And then, a slight wave from her spot in the snow, as she tries to ease herself up and her ribs protest. "Thanks. I'm Ruby."
