Cyril had been trying to find the missing raven when he came across this girl currently being swarmed with them. He really didn't like the idea of someone innocent getting harmed because one raven got off course. He knew those things looked threatening enough, he couldn't imagine having a flock rushing you.

"Hey!" he yelled really loud, trying to distract the birds, as he ran up to where Hermione was currently being trapped by the birds. He got out his bow, but didn't shoot an arrow just yet. He didn't want to accidentally hit the girl, or Leliana's raven.
