She's happy to listen to anything Bull can tell her about elves and their history, but he doesn't exactly leave off on a high note. More than a little aghast, she starts for a moment before asking, "So they just... kicked her out? Because she's a mage?" That frown returns as she looks down, feeling a little sick.
"But... what about her family? Her friends? They just turned their backs on her because she happens to be able to use magic?" Granted, she supposes there is a fair amount of danger in keeping an untrained mage around, more so than an untrained witch or wizard, but even then, wouldn't setting up magic schools be simpler?
"I don't-... don't understand. It sounds so cruel."
