Clearly, Hermione would have to be careful about her wording here, since it seems like some things have different meanings. "Well, when people die-... we don't really know what happens, exactly, but sometimes, our souls linger around the Earth, and they're called ghosts, or sometimes spirits. You don't... have those here? Souls or ghosts or anything like that? Spirits are just separate beings?"

Tilting her head a bit curiously, she added, "We have a class of magical creatures known as demons. Grindylows, Kelpies... are they a problem here?"
