He looks over at her, before he sighs quietly. "Well, it is all defunct now, but mages used to live in places called Circles. Because mages are publicly known in our world -- they are in greater danger of being hurt by ... misguided people who are afraid of them. Or, in some cases, mages who could not control their abilities and turned into demons. That is not to say that every Circle was a haven - but for those of us who truly served our Maker's will, that is what it was meant to be."
He sighed again. "I apologize -- it is something we Templars and the mages have been at war at for some two years now. I am hoping we all love to more peaceful actions in the future, for both sides."
