[ The windmill is just ahead, a set of snow covered, rickety wood steps leading up to the front door which rotted through ages ago. Two wood boards are nailed over the entrance to keep out intruders, but it seems there was a third board in the middle that was stripped away, and that leaves room to get inside.
Ellana trips on the stairs she can't properly see and lets out a cry of surprise as she falls, hands bracing herself. She lands badly on one wrist, but hops back up and scrambles to the door, ducking and getting one leg over the bottom board, then the other one. Immediately she looks around to see what heavy things have been left behind to make a barrier. ]
Hurry! I can close it off!
[ Several crates and broken chunks of masonry litter the floor. As she looks around, she sees why. The grinding stones were broken long ago and bits are lying useless everywhere. ]
