if anyone with elfblooded claims to be an elf to gwen she is going to laugh, cruelly, and explain that that's the most fucked up thing they could've possibly said about the people they allegedly care about. she genuinely believes that the fundamental concept of an elfblooded person is a) proof that the elven race is a failure that's going to die out and b) humanity's ultimate conquest over them.

and because she actually does love her mother, deeply repressed and confused and messed up because these beliefs do not really gel with being able to reach out to her, that makes her super angry!!!! it's not fair. but that part doesn't get discussed.
