The merchants have been unhappy all the way, up to and including when Hissera (and you, probably!) have found them. It might be mildly amusing how these dwarves make the tall Vashoth look abashed as she shrugs her shoulders helplessly as they complain.
"I'm sorry. We're sparing as many as we can. And we'll do everything to make sure you're on your way!" Hissera smiles hopefully at the merchants, but they're not impressed with her optimistic attempts.
Some people are just good at taking the sugar out of lemonade, sometimes. She'll do her best to put it back in, though.
Will the trip remain uneventful? Probably not.

Taverns are a funny thing, because while there's an abundance of beer and good joy, Hissera sort of feels like she sticks out a bit much and smiles sheepishly. She's not too fond of beer to begin with, but at least everyone seems like they're in a good mood.
Out of the corner of eye, she spots a mabari. Her eyes widen.
