Character: Eirlys Ancarrow (Dragon Age OC) Occupation/Role: Herbalist and healer, crafting and administering potions and poultices, tending to the sick A/R/N/M: 27/Elf/Fereldan/not a mage Elevator Pitch: City elf a long way from her alienage. Eirlys is used to keeping to herself, expecting to be treated as badly by humans as she has been all her life. She is kind hearted and values her role as a healer above all else. She had great pride in belonging to the Inquisition, but now she's beginning to question whether they're really benefiting her people or whether their task of restoring order will mean their oppression continues. Where They've Been: Eirlys is from Gwaren's elven alienage and travelled to the Conclave with her former employer, who was then killed by demons. She stayed at Skyhold for about a month, travelling to the Fallow Mire, before being sent to Redcliffe. She then returned to Gwaren for several months, coming back to Skyhold a little over a month ago. Apart from a brief foray into the Hinterlands for supplies recently, she hasn't really left Skyhold since. Typical Day: On a typical day she can be found in the courtyard tending to the wounded. She tries to keep away from places like the tavern where she's likely to encounter large groups of rowdy humans. She also spends time at the Andrastian chapel, though she's keeping up her devotions mostly to keep some part of her daily routine and privately she's beginning to question her faith. She spends time in the garden growing flowers and herbs. I haven't really set a place for her to sleep yet, she's still drifting around finding free spaces or sleeping in the healers' tents. Plot Interests: Anything you're planning or hoping to do with the character plotwise, whether that's specific plots/adventures or a general preference for action, intrigue, etc. CR Interests: At the moment she wants to learn to read and some self-defense, if either of those are of interest (Isana said that someone should teach her to read using Varric's books and I 100% support this!). I really want her to get closer CR with other elves and to become part of the elven community here at Skyhold. Another thing I really want is for her to learn more about spirits and demons and the Fade, as she's terrified that she somehow summoned the demon that killed her master and led her to join the Inquisition in the first place, so she needs to have explanation and closure on that sooner rather than later. I'd also like for her to connect with fellow Andrastians; her faith is super strong some days but absent almost completely others, and she'd benefit from discussing that with someone. More generally she's available for healing and advising on medicine/public health matters - she wants to track down some more rifters who have a basic understanding of germ theory to learn more about that. She'd also just like some more friends. Character's greatest fear? The enslavement or slaughter of her alienage. Also demons. Anything Else:
