You know, if this were rifter!Lex I don't think I'd be able to defend myself. But it's fine, Thedas doesn't have a Superman so he's more with the ingenuity and ...you know, awkwardness, rather than ingenuity, awkwardness, and plotting to create huge swathes of collateral damage. Yay?

Korrin went back to Skyhold on emergency business, so sadly she isn't around to be all unholy apostate at Herian in Orlais. For now. But I definitely want them to run into each other later. She can always find out about Korrin (eventually, not now) teaching others the Knight-Enchanter path, and being much less selective about it. THE HORROR.

Herian will continue to puzzle Inessa, who will just Not Get people not liking dogs, but aside from that she's willing to work with her and learn more about it.

1. Haha ten seconds into meeting him it's like ...okay you probably wouldn't bother to pose as. Anything. Which seems like it will at least save time! But yeah, I think it's safe to say just from his uh, life, he can combine his knowledge base with his own need for security and be an appropriate person to choose.

2. Ahhhh I will save most of this for the actual thread but I'm thinking like, armor that is essentially designed the way the crafting system works in the actual game, ie she can switch pieces out, bc for one thing as far as I can tell spirit blades don't actually weigh anything, so that would require different balance than swinging an actual sword, just. Basically this is my favorite thing about AUing him the way he did, so I am excited!

Can CR just be as straightforward as I need armor, I have heard tell there is a talented dude around? That seems easy.

I like to think so. Basically yeah if you would be interested in her picking up the basics of Thedosian crafting that could be fun! I. Don't know how much I can say for him as a teacher, but he is uniquely knowledgeable so he'd be a good starting off point for Dagna-level shit.

Andy's Hot Buns

Occupation/Role: Cook!
A/R/N/M: 24, human, Fereldan, non-mage
Elevator Pitch: Rude, sarcastic baker who says "I don't care" while caring a lot. Hates bullies and is secretly a huge pushover for anybody in need, but she has trouble with social situations and connecting with people and usually can't say a nice thing to save her life. Have this pie instead. (The secret ingredient is feelings)
Where They've Been: Avery was born and raised in Denerim, until fairly recently when she made a temporary move to Redcliffe on her way elsewhere. And then the whole war thing conveniently exploded around her. She got hurt pretty bad at one point in the crossfire and got stuck with the other Hinterlands refugees while she recovered. Forever later, after she finally healed up enough, she headed straight to Skyhold to volunteer, because she figures without the Inquisition she might have just died there. Also guilt for some stuff she did there to survive.
Typical Day: The kitchens is where you'll probably find her! She works there constantly, she sometimes even sleeps there, and she's very protective of it. So if you need something from there, you might have to get through her first. The gardens or stables are the most likely places she'll be other than that.
Plot Interests: I don't really have any definite plans, other than that she may be getting a promotion soon to being the personal chef for the Inquisition's Advisors, which could be fun to play around with. Other than that, I'd love to see her get pulled into some things.

And again, Avery is pretty easy to work into domestic-y stuff around the keep! Everybody's gotta eat (pretty much)! If you've got a character who you want more CR for but it's hard because they're not very social, it's easy-peasy to bump into her in the dining hall or even have her DELIVER a meal to them if they skip the normal mealtimes a lot. She's also likely to volunteer for other physical work that might need doing around the place. Just be aware, she might not be very NICE about it.
CR Interests: Avery isn't very social, but I'm working on improving that. I'd love for her to meet some more people who see how squishy and awkward she actually is. Also people to butt heads with! Also also pretty women to make her even MORE squishy and awkward. Etc. etc. etc.
Desert Island Items: like... a city???

Yeah that'll probably be Rey's favorite thing. There's actually this thing in the prequel novel where she gets a cookie for the first time ever in her life and her reaction to them is so cute so when she finds out those are a common thing here she's basically gonna be like Sten all up in this bitch.

Eirlys Ancarrow

Occupation/Role: Herbalist and healer, crafting and administering potions and poultices, tending to the sick, running the potion crafting workshop. Also, she's City Elf liaison.
A/R/N/M: 27, elf, Fereldan, not mage
Elevator Pitch: City elf a long way from her alienage. Eirlys is used to keeping to herself, expecting to be treated as badly by humans as she has been all her life. She is kindhearted and values her role as a healer above all else. She's returned to the Inquisition to advocate for alienage rights and to do all she can to get them a voice in the changing world the Inquisition is making.
Where They've Been: Eirlys is from Gwaren's elven alienage and travelled to the Conclave with her former employer, who was then killed by demons. She stayed at Skyhold for about a month, travelling to the Fallow Mire, before being sent to Redcliffe. She then returned to Gwaren for several months, coming back to Skyhold a couple of months ago. Since then she's been to the Hinterlands, the Western Approach, into the Fade, the Brecilian Forest, and now she's in Halamshiral.
Typical Day: On a typical day she can be found in the courtyard tending to the wounded. She tries to keep away from places like the tavern where she's likely to encounter large groups of rowdy humans. She also spends time at the Andrastian chapel, though she's keeping up her devotions mostly to keep some part of her daily routine and privately she's seriously questioning her faith. She spends time in the garden growing flowers and herbs. She sleeps in the healers' tents, though at some point I need to get her a proper space of her own.
Plot Interests: Eirlys had her faith shaken in the Fade, and she's still questioning her relationship with the Maker if anyone wants a philosophical discussion. She's learning to read and learning to speak elvish. I want her to get a lot more elven CR in particular, whether through her role as liaison or just comparing cultures - she's very pro-elf rights and is adjusting to speaking out on this rather than having no choice but to stay silent. Healer/patient CR is always easy to come by with her, and she's particularly interested in disease prevention and public health matters.
CR Interests: Bring me all your elves! Otherwise Eirlys is available for healing and advising on medicine/public health matters, and to advise and help in her liaison role. She'd also just like some more friends. She's a good maternal/older sister figure. She's also very single and pretty lonely. I'd prefer to avoid negative CR unless there's some avenue of progressing initially negative CR to positive later on.
Desert Island Items: Her mortar and pestle, some flower seeds and gardening tools, a friend to share island life with.
Anything Else:

That is 100% a thing that can happen. Avery already sometimes brings food down to the healing tents for patients who can't make the trip up to the dining hall (and healers who are too busy or stubborn to)

Dany would definitely be interested! She hasn't quite developed the martyr complex that she has in later canon, but she has a bleeding heart for slaves and the oppressed and has certainly noticed how elves are treated in Thedas. I'd love to get her involved somehow!

Elevator Pitch: daenerys stormborn of house targaryen, the first of her name, queen of the andals and the first men, protector of the realm, khaleesi of the great grass sea, the uburnt, the queen across the sea, the silver queen, the beggar queen, the dragon queen, mother of dragons

BASICALLY here is a teenager who cares a lot about the oppressed and about dragons. she has a special-snowflake kinship with dragons (even in thedas). she has a lot of titles and no real ability to defend herself save for talking her way out of things.

she has a lot of introspection about a lemon tree and some house with a red door.

Where They've Been: dany is a rifter who arrived in the mountains and was not at all dressed for the weather. she made a few friends and has since been in a snowball fight, which was... confusing. she sticks to big groups and keeps her mouth shut since she's still very much getting the lay of the land.

Typical Day: dany has been prowling. she watches other members of the inquisition and rifters, especially, trying to connect with other people who were pulled in from separate worlds. she reads a lot, trying to learn more about thedas, its people, and its culture, and will be beginning quiet dragon research as soon as she learns (one way or another) that they exist in thedas, too. more so in thedas, actually, than in her own world.

Plot Interests: anything at all!! she's easily sucked into the plights of the less fortunate and could therefore be enabled to doing things for mage or elf rights.

CR Interests: again, i would be up for anything. she keeps to herself a lot at this point, so i would love allies, friends, or even enemies for dany. people who will talk to her either about their rifter world or about thedas.

Desert Island Items: she's spent a lot of time in the desert recently and could probably pick out food, water, a horse, some kind of shady object, and... maybe a big hat. she's hella pale.

I was silly and should have added this last night! Physically Alexander is sixteen. He is very short though so a first glance might suggest younger but please know that he is certainly passable for older after another look! Also I should clarify that he is used to being a prince/king so he is actually not used to preparing his own food and such. He'll be happy to learn that stuff for anyone willing to teach him and probably eager to trade favors of song and poetry until he learns to do more things! He's still training hard so he will have to build up to offering more intense physical things.
