I think Alexander will like her quite a bit and be fascinated by her tinkering with things. He'd probably actually look for things for her to tinker with just to watch her work now that I think about it.

That would frankly delight her and she'd probably happily build him stuff once she gets used to working with the materials in this world.

That would be amazing. Alex will make sure to start paying attention to what she uses the most to keep an eye out for things like that to collect it. Creating things like that is something he greatly admires so he'd want to encourage her endeavors!
