Shino Inuzuka

[personal profile] inuko 2016-08-11 09:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Your Name: KC
Contact: PM/OOC Comms!

Character: Shino Inuzuka (Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East)
Occupation/Role: Rifter!
A/R/N/M: 18 / Human / Japanese / Nope!
Elevator Pitch: An eighteen year old country kid with a fondness for living, wears his heart visible on his sleeve, tends to live very in the moment, and is slow to understand outside perspectives. He's a bit gullible (by choice, at times), knowingly selfish, and curious about the world around him. He can be hard working, but he'll also slack or get distracted if allowed and not particularly interested in what's going on.
Where They've Been: Through a rift! ... That's what I've got so far, hah.
Typical Day: He needs to figure out where he'll be staying, I'm up for any suggestions people might have!
Plot Interests: He's got no sense for political intrigue, so if you want someone to bungle he's your guy. Otherwise adventures are much more up his alley, unless they involve the undead or bugs. (I find both fine, he'll just freak out in the process!) He's going to be dealing with culture shock and likely to bungle lots of the assumed social norms in various parts of Thedas as a consequence. I'm looking to get him stepping up to take responsibility for his actions or for actively helping others in more than a casually passing through sense; making friends without the aid of being a kid to outside appearances and thus being treated like one/protected like a child. He'll be game for anything pointing toward understanding the rifts and ultimately getting him/the rifters home, because that's his top priority after "survive." He's also going to have interesting thoughts and feelings on spirits and demons as far as they're portrayed in Thedas, given his own personal history with such things.
CR Interests: I'm fine with skipping initial "hello my name is" conversations with discussion beforehand, if anyone would like! As far as CR types go, anyone willing to try and mentor this guy (if... anyone even wants to), positive and negative CR, friends, enemies... if you want this idiot as one (it'd probably be more of a joke than anything else), sparring partners, people to teach him skills he doesn't have. You know, like most of them. People to tease him, to push him to do better, to hold him accountable and call out his BS; people who'd likewise want to be called out, or who'd like to discuss spirits and/or demons with someone who has a more reflective consideration of both. He takes more offense over what's done to others/to his friends than to himself for the most part, unless you want to joke or tease about him being short. (He perceives himself as short and it irritates him that at 18 he didn't GROW REALLY TALL.)
Desert Island Items: A friend, a survival book, an all purpose knife, and a blanket. His friend is the non-negotiable part. After all, if they do die on that island, at least they won't die alone. /sobs
Anything Else: Okay so he really just likes clean places guys...
