Character: Gwenaëlle Vauquelin

Elevator Pitch: A spoiled Orlesian heiress and unlikely recipient of an anchor-shard, Gwenaëlle was sent to Skyhold very much against her wishes and is slowly becoming a more thoughtful person as a result. Also against her will. She is the product of, variously: a deeply unhappy home, an elven servant and the Comte, and 'what happens when a young woman has the personality and morals of a cat'. Unfashionably frank, a bit awkward (only sometimes charmingly) and a bad liar, the likely answer to Morrigan's ongoing question of 'how did Orlais not eat her alive' is probably equal parts 'doting papa is much better at playing the Game' and 'some sort of fucking miracle'.

↠ CONNECTIONS
Where They've Been: Prior to the Inquisition, Orlais! She'd never previously left the Orlesian empire; she split her time primarily between Halamshiral and following the imperial court as one does, or retiring periodically to her family's country home.
What They Do: She writes On the Inquisition; A Lady's Observations - usually monthly, returning early Feb once we know the outcome of the winter palace.
Who They Know: Morrigan, Lex Luthor, Bellamy Blake, other people, I am super bad at this part and always forget somebody. She was previously often with Thranduil, but has been avoiding him for months now.
What They've Been Up To: Bringing back Observations in the new month! It would've been earlier, but I wanted to wait to write about whoever the crown settles on, so.
