Elevator Pitch: Templar. Now working for a faction of Chantry progressives who want to know what the Inquisition’s up to. Doing her best to hide a leaky memory and a small coven of blood mages. Both more and less of a bastard than she pretends to be.

↠ CONNECTIONS
Where They've Been: From rural Orlais, trained in Val Royeaux. Stationed out of the White Spire, but went all over the heckin place on missions (research to escort, apostates to execute). Perhaps you met. Wasn't present for the Annulment as she was busy screwing up her job somewhere else.

What They Do: Participates in drills. Asks questions, hangs around the Chantry peeps, helps out with manual labour, reads a loooot. Spends evenings snooping writing reports in the tavern or wandering the battlements.

Who They Know: Not many people yet! She was fond of one of the NPC Vauquelins, and also kid!Yael.

What They've Been Up To: Right now she's looking for intel on a dude she helped train, who's gone missing (and might have gone red). She's also gonna conduct a survey of non-Andrastian religion, but is looking for ways to do it that look less like she's collecting a list of heretics.

↠ HOPES & DREAMS
Plot Plans: Not much atm! Let's do something!! Random hooks that I'm happy to touch on if anyone's interested: Her former templar partner isn't really dead, her for realsies dead brother hid some stuff in the scattered Montsimmard library collection, aaand the fiancee she abandoned as a teenager has gained some criminal ties.

Development Goals: I'd love to play with trust (genuine or misplaced) as a theme in her CR. Questions of morality and public/private faces are also potentially interesting to explore. In the longer-term her lyrium addling will become more apparent.

CR Wishlist: I love all types of CR! I have a special soft spot for the kind that stays plastic to development.

What is an area of Dragon Age lore/history/whatever that you’d really like to learn more about?: The touching friendship between a boy and his rage-demon-possessed goat.

Elevator Pitch: Child cultist, turned hermit apostate, turned local weirdo. Also turns into a bird. But not a tern. More competent than immediately apparent.

↠ CONNECTIONS
Where They've Been: Born to the Disciples of Andraste in old Haven. Grew up mostly in the wilderness with his aunt. Perhaps you met. Recently spent a few years in Denerim, and then the Hinterlands/Korcari Wilds.

What They Do: Reps hedge mages on the council, trains to suck less at magic. Helps out in the kitchens, teaches classes (Dragons 101 & Wilderness Survival), steals and hides things. Often goes for walks outside the keep's walls. Usually sleeps in wolf shape.

Who They Know: Trusts Korrin. Will be training some with Anders. Co-teaches the dragon class with Kain. He thinks Morrigan and Beleth are pretty rad, but doesn't know about the former's part in the Fifth Blight yet.

What They've Been Up To: He's going to go hang out in the Darkest Timeline, while real!Alan carves a staff and heals up from the Winter Palace. Some cult stuff is likely to come out to folks this month.

↠ HOPES & DREAMS
Plot Plans: I'm hoping to eventually do a thing with revisiting Haven and tracking down his reaver sister. At which point he’ll start going hard at blood magic. Other potential hooks: He (with Beleth) stole some stuff during the recent Winter Palace fiasco, his ex-girlfriend is being blackmailed over her side hustle as a fence, certain of the scholar Genitivi's works have been disappearing from the Skyhold library.

Development Goals: Alan’s currently trying to engage more with other people, and is learning that he might have to compromise some of his moral beliefs to do so. Despite his relatively free life, he’s going to be feeling kind of frustrated and powerless as Stuff Keeps Happening, and that could also be interesting to explore.

CR Wishlist: I love all types of CR! I have a special soft spot for the kind that stays plastic to development, as evidence by me copy+pasting this.

I owe you an apology for having to let go their first thread - and I am definitely sorry I dropped the ball on that. I'd love to have Jamie and Alan run into each other again, though, if that'd be something you'd be interested in doing?

He's always welcome to steal something from Jamie, too, although I can't promise Jamie won't be mad if he finds out about it.

please don't worry about it at all! stuff happens, and that was a wild time of the year for everyone. i'd definitely be interested in another thread — is jaime still sleeping in the stables or is he elsewhere these days?

Only if you'd consider the odd nap sleeping. He's more or less moved out, so isn't there as much as he used to be. He still does spend a decent amount of time there, though. That and up on the battlements, if Alan wants to wander across some bagpipe playing or something.
