A nice spare haft for his hammer, carved adeptly from hickory.

An offer to catch up over a drink (that he'll pay for), with the tacit implication that he won't ollie off this time.

A very sturdy dwarven teapot that he'll swear can survive all travel situations and also works well as a weapon in those situations we all find ourselves in from time to time. He's had it decorated with a cheery little motif of anvils, tongs, hammers etc. It's got a little alienage elf tree hidden in there too.
