yes please to both of these things. I love the idea of Van bonding weirdly with Melys over a complete absurd misunderstanding and now she just has both of the Eye Cousins being weirdly friendly at her. he will bake her things and have Myr deliver them and she will realize eventually that they aren't poisoned or anything.
