Oh, yeah! I can totally imagine Altrand and his wife having been at parties in the dwarven embassy and rubbing elbows with Thor's fam.

And then that gives poor Altrand reason to be mortified upon meeting Thor again, because it's pretty much a guarantee that he made a loud drunk ass of himself at whatever parties he attended at that point in his life.
