↠ EVACUATING THE CHANTRY AT MONT-DE-MARC

What's Happening: The town of Mont-de-Marc is just south of the Blasted Hills, and has taken in a great many refugees from that region as the Ander army has moved in and darkspawn attacks have increased. Their numbers are now too great to keep everyone fed and safe, but the roads are too dangerous for them to travel alone. An Orlesian army patrol attempted to make the journey to assist, but never made it, and Mother Hortense has now appealed to the Inquisition for assistance.

It will not go well.

Who's Involved: Just Galatea!

Who's Needed: Other people. Galatea would prioritise people who can fight and who have at least some experience being quiet while walking, and also someone who can provide medical aid.

↠ BEGGING PRINCES FOR HELP, FANCILY
What's Happening: A team is going to travel to Antiva to attend a ridiculously lavish wedding between two Merchant Princes' children, invitations courtesy of Marisol's (and Kostos and Nikos') family. During the festivities there will be an opportunity to take aside the MPs in attendance—nearly all of them at once—and solicit aid with the Front. And then they're all going to unexpectedly stay the night with Mr and Mrs Averesch.

When: Harvestmere 10

Who's Involved: Marisol, Kostos, Nikos, Caspar, Nell

Who's Needed: 1-2 members of the Diplomacy Division to do the, like, actual work

Sign-Up Deadline: ASAP, Oct 10 at the latest

Other Notes: We're going to handwave the meeting with the Princes; the outcome will be that they agree to allow their men to volunteer to go, thus preserving Antiva's neutrality, and we'll roll for how many people actually show up in the end. But it's a chance for someone to add talking to a lot of very powerful people and being at least somewhat successful to their resumes. Diplomats who aren't great choices for actually talking to a bunch of dignitaries might still be able to come and take notes/make the plans/write the speeches, then just make one of the more acceptable-appearing people do the talking.

The parts we intend to actually RP are (1) whatever shenanigans people want to get up to during the wedding part, which can include pursuing their own agendas among the attendees; (2) drinking too much afterwards; and (3) dinner with Kostos and Nikos' parents and maybe Marisol's too. But if none of that interests you very much you can still send your character and have them be around in the background doing important diplomat work.

↠ INVESTIGATING THE BLACK DIVINE

What's Happening: Yseult + 3 friends are traveling to three cities in Tevinter to visit their Grand Clerics and gather information related to the Black Divine and his opinions about Corypheus. They'll be mostly successful, but have to move carefully, execute a chantry heist!, and make a quick getaway to escape capture. COMPLETE WRITE-UP HERE.

When: Whenever! This one isn't tied to the mod plot, so can be anytime in the next couple months.

Who's Involved: The team is still being nailed down based on other assignment schedules, so let me know if you're interested!!

Who's Needed: Yseult is ICly mostly looking for people who are cool under pressure, trustworthy, and can pass unnoticed in Tevinter. Ideally, they'd have at least some of the following skills (in no particular order):

• impersonating Vints, particularly if mages
  
• speaking/reading Tevene
  
• familiarity with the Chantry, especially the Northern Chantry
  
• getting people to chat with them and answer questions without raising suspicions
  
• stealthy investigation/infiltration/theft
  
• relatively discreet combat

She's also a clone, though the likelihood of you actually confusing her for Helena or Sarah is relatively small, given wildly different accents, hairstyles and general demeanor.

I love all sorts of CR, and Newt can lend himself to prickly/complicated CR easily enough, so all CR is good! If you are a templar, I can only apologize for the headaches Newt is likely causing you.

More specifically, more CR with more magic users! I'm having him studying/basic training with learning to use a staff, and I would love for a native mage to help him with that. He's also working with daggers, too, so help on that front with rogues would be great!

Also like, if rebel mages are looking for rifter converts, Newt pretty obviously empathizes with the mages when it comes down to it.

Tina just left, so he's super sad. But he can be a good and loyal friend once you get to know him, and he's the kind to 'please I don't need feelings' while helping/hanging out with people. He can also be funny and witty, and he enjoys both in other people, so he can be fun to be around!

He really wants to see a high dragon up close. Like, this is his main goal while in Thedas, lbr. Baby dragons and drakes would be fun too! And he is absolutely the sort to go and try to find wyverns just to observe/gush over them. He is a nerd with so many brushes with death, he's lost count.
