Hey, I was talking with River's player about some possible CR and it was mentioned that Twisted Fate might be interested in looking for a musician type to help facilitate some dancing? Jamie has a musician's background as a piper, so would that be something that you'd be interested in? Once he either finishes the wooden recorder he's working on ICly, anyway.

oh my god I hadn't seen it graphically before, that's fantastic. Sam has met one balrog-kin giant qunari but MORE PLS. Especially since Taas is even scarier looking than Korrin.

He's met one who was similarly apprehensive, but more is always good! He also doesn't know anything about what templars are or what they do, just that they're soldiers. So that might be...fun.

I was trying to think of a way to tag Sam into Cullen's open post but couldn't think of anything other than him watching silently. Does Cullen wanna meet a hobbit and maybe teach him how to hold a sword the right way?

Sabriel Abhorsen

Character: Sabriel Abhorsen (Old Kingdom series)
Occupation/Role: Renegade Grey Warden that's not supposed to be here and one part of the Councillors of Magi.
A/R/N/M: 22, human, Nevarran, Circle mage
Elevator Pitch: Circle mage of a noble family that are consistently conscripted by Wardens when they come of age, and surprise!!, it's her turn. Forced to kill possessed father, joins the Wardens in Orlais where they want to have a demon possess her. Hurray! Spends her time researching and saving lost kittens, too pure for this world, etc.

Opinions: Sabriel has a lot of opinions that are usually romanticised versions of The Truth (by which I mean she's naive, but not that naive, she just believes the world to be a better place than what it actually is, and believes the best in people, etc). Some of these are book facts, some father told me so facts, some things she knows for herself facts.

Mages. Her thoughts on the rebellion are vague and she disagrees with it, but it's really not her argument because she's a Warden first. She is pro-circle (but thinks choice should factor in) and pro-templar (but wants the relationship to become more equal). See mage council.
Wardens are great, do not say otherwise.
Religion. Sabriel is not Andrastian but she won't push that view unto you. She believes in the Nevarran concept of souls and spirits even though she disagrees with Mortalitasi practices. Spirits are called to death and can fall through the Veil, but they should be helped back across the Fade, and not, y'know, bound to a body, not even wisps. Bodies should also be burned as in Chantry practice. Also what if you call a demon instead, that's bad, very very bad. Basically she respects the Mortalitasi but she does not agree with what they do. No undead, okay!
Politics. Gets involved even when she shouldn't. As diplomatic as she is, there comes a point in time where she will forsake diplomacy for the simple fact that something needs doing and you know what you can all argue about it after the world is still around to be argued about.
Races. Grew up around dwarves in a merchant caravan, used to Vashoth from the same period, used to elves from within the tower and all (save qunari) in the Warden ranks. Everyone is great.

Where They've Been: Travelling with a merchant caravan alongside her Warden father across Nevarra and the Free Marches (9:19-27), Perendale circle (9:27-40), Hunter Fell at her family estate, north of the Plains of Ghislain, mostly the Nevarran countryside (9:40-41), Orlais, predominately Montsimmard (9:41) running for her life towards the Frostbacks (also 9:41, see Wardens on the run).

Future Plans: She is going to finish the boots for Scipio that she promised since she and the tranquil have succeeded in not have them burn (at least for a few minutes they're working on the 'forever' part). Other than that, championing, gently, that they should go and help out the Wardens. This is partly because she could potentially have a personal quest sooner rather than later. Mysterious noises.

CR Desires: I'd really like her to make more friends and get out of her shell! I'd also really like templar friendships! Or anything at all, really, I'm not picky. Gimme Sabriel CR. I'm happy to handwave initial meetings and first impressions so we can RP as though they have met, particularly for voices in the mage council, so HIT ME UP.

ps he doesn't like tevinter tho, on account of the Elves. So that might be an awkward conversation at some point.

He's more than happy to help the shorter people, and Sam wins that department. He could seriously carry Sam as a backpack XD

Kas also knows about Sam because human Sam talked about hobbit Sam earlier so he'd probably be curious!

I have made it no secret that I'd like Sherlock to get involved with the Jennies eventually — although more from a Sera-like "fun with grand pranks" perspective than an "overthrow corruption" perspective, but anyway. If you're down, I'd love to get the CR ball rolling.

He's doing it when he gets free time but I haven't really picked a specific timeframe, just a 'doing it as he goes' thing. So we can go with a rough point of sometime next month, maybe, or if Fate is able to ICly point him in the direction of something pre-made that's along the lines of a recorder or a pennywhistle or something of that nature then he can play that much sooner. (ie OOCly whenever you'd like to set something up for that!)
