Party Banter Meme

In the Dragon Age games, as you travel Thedas with your best pals, they have a lot of short conversations about politics, the weather, butts, etc. So this is the Fade Rift equivalent, in four easy steps!
1. Imagine your characters are on a very long walk toward a mission objective, or on a very long walk back after kicking ass, or standing guard together, or gathering herbs, or working in the library late at night, or something. Anything sort of boring that might make people want to have a dumb conversation just to break things up a bit.
OPTIONAL ASSISTANT: Since so many people reported being out of it, we made a random generator to help you come up with some general banter prompts for your top-levels.
2. Post a few remarks your character might say (similar to TFLN, except spoken out loud and less ridiculous and sexy, maybe. maybe not. we don’t know your life) while passing the time.
3. Tag around to reply to those general remarks or to start new/wildcard conversations! Threads should be pretty short and involve minimal action; there’s no need to turn anything into a big production. Multiperson threads are encouraged. Series of conversations between the same two characters occurring on different days are also encouraged.
4. Gather up all of your little conversation snippets like a bouquet and keep them forever, because they’re game canon. Banter threads can't be used for Base AC, but do count towards AC Rewards points.

[ A small, dull rattle of memory accompanies that statement, anecdotes that Ellis lets fade rather than put voice to. ]
But I can't say there was much need to consider it before now.

[ Extremely noncommittal. ]
We could walk closer to the riverbed, if you aren't concerned about the mud.

[And for all her pretense with respect to absolutely everything else under the sun, she is perfectly willing to hike up the edge of her skirts with all its under layers and shove them between her side and cinched waist belt to keep them out of the muck.
(He isn't courting her anymore, and so is unlikely to expire from repressed desire should her calves in their bright blue stockings be on display.)]

[ Though Ellis considers the likelihood of something falling into the river, and vows vigilance. Or least, a passing attentiveness.
He does not expire at the sight of her calves. ]
If there's a bear, you're to take cover, [ he reminds, because bear attacks are preferable than conversations that edge ever more expectantly towards song. ] They're easily driven off, most of the time.

I'll have you know that I'm perfectly acquainted with the handling of wild animals, Mr. Ellis. My family kept house in the country.

[ what is the theory of fending off bears as imparted by wysteria poppell ]

And if that doesn't work, then it is best to strike it on the nose. I suppose I might hope to find a good stick or a heavy stone.

[ Relieved that Wysteria actually does know how to ward off bears. ]
Have you thought anymore about weapons, by the way?

[ because ellis isn't biased at all. ]
You really think Mr. Fitz is interested in learning how to handle a sword?

['Go teach that nerd how to use a big hammer or something if it's so necessary, Mr. Ellis,' says that sidelong look.]

[ Please, please let him teach you how to use a sword Wysteria ]

[ As he gently kicks a rock into the river, just to avoid potential mishaps. ]
But we have extra space in your garden now that I cleared away the last of that statue. You wouldn't have to go down to the training yard.

[ probably a losing attempt all around, but by god, he's going to keep at it. ]

Fine. If you will swear to stop fretting like a dog about a bone over it.
