HAPPY SATINALIA

how to play:

1. tag with a toplevel for your characters. (possibly include division + projects for ease of identifying coworkers!)
2. reply to other's tags with what your character got theirs for satinalia.
3. rake in those approval or disapproval points. we support both friend- and rival- mances.

NEW RULE THIS YEAR, NERDS:
Top levels with character names will be unscreened, but comment replies will be screened until reveals at 11:59pm EST on October 29th, 2020, like some sort of Christmas tree or whatever, in order to allow people in all timezones to best participate (and because some of y'all have lists??).

With very little fanfare: a small leather pouch, neatly packed with poultices, bandages, horse hair thread and a few needles.

Left in his mailbox with the understanding that it will take roughly until next year before he finds it, is a cream colored envelope with a familiar faintly pink wax seal. It's rather heavy owing to the forged steel fire striker it contains in it. The curved ends resemble either lizard or dragon heads; it's difficult to definitively say which, given the rough nature of forged metals. The (dated) note alongside it reads:
Monsieur,

I saw this while seeing to a number of other errands, the details of which I will not bore you with, and recalled that you have some fondness for outdoorsmanship. I trust you will find some use for it, but if you cannot please return it and I will employ it as a paperweight for it is quite sturdy and would do the job admirably well.

Regards,
W.A. Poppell

There is also a collection of older mail alongside the envelope. Weird; it must have originally been misfiled or arrived very late, because it definitely wasn't stolen.
