In his box, Strange receives a cloth-wrapped package with secondhand copies of Beyond the Veil: Spirits and Demons by Enchanter Mirdromel, and A Study of the Fifth Blight, Volumes 1 and 2 by Sister Petrine, a Chantry scholar.

Inside one of the covers is a note from Ellie that has a list of book titles, all concerning the history and lore of Thedas and especially magic, all available at the Gallows library. She favors firsthand accounts over more clinical studies.
