Left in Flint's nook: two tickets to In The Ruins, a play currently showing in Hightown. In this deeply affecting melodrama, King Arland Theirin contemplates his life, musing at length on succumbing to paranoia and ordering the death of his cousin to keep her from the throne. The psychological reality of the tyrant King is explored through lengthy monologue, and has had solid reviews; Raoul Gauthier delivers a standout performance.
