Hello Lor. I love this original character named Clarisse La Rue that you invented and fleshed out all on your own with no help. You made a cool guy.

For real: you have put so much time and effort into Clarisse that she is basically yours, and faderift benefits so much from her rash, unpredictable, crass, exciting, strong, hilarious behaviour. She's so often the secret ingredient a situation needed and I track all of your threads because of this. And even though you are legally obligated as my friend to make Clarisse interact with every single one of my characters, they all have such different relationships!! Not a single thing feels repeated, everything is so fresh and exciting. And I don't really have words for how freaking cool it is that I get to ship with you in a game omg. The Abby/Clarisse renaissance will RUIN LIVES, notably mine

I don't know you well yet, but I do know that if anyone could make me care about the Percy Jackson universe, it's your Clarisse-- if anything I'm worried if I got into it I wouldn't like her as much as I like yours.

Your writing has such nuance and realism, and I love that you play someone who's complicated and gives you an opportunity to really mess around with her morality, her ego, etc. I also obviously love our CR, but it wouldn't work if your characterization weren't so solid.

i've said it before and i'll say it again, clarisse feels so believably her age. competent and opinionated and and proud and still figuring things out, still with soft spots to jab incidentally or otherwise.

it's a lot of fun to bounce off, and i'm looking forward to doing more of that in the future!! i am also as a bystander excited for her and abby to finally kiss. i've never read pjo, but i assume that's canon and riordan writes a whole book about it, because it's too good not to

I've loved following Clarisse's arcs here so much that I stg I'm gonna wind up reading PJO solely for you & her, because I wanna know moreeeee about her and all the ways she ticks. I've enjoyed reading so much of the rifter jock gal trio (my stories!!), and I'm stoked that picking up Astrid means I finally have the perfect excuse to have someone latch more onto Clarisse ICly; I really appreciate their growing friendship and look forward to keep digging deeper into it in future :>

Clarisse is SO good I have..... not read the books because of her, yet, but I have tagged them in Libby (the app not our player) to get on the waitlist next time I'm in need of audiobooks for a drive or something. Because of her. Love her complexity and muscles. Excited to spy on her ship. And I need to tag her more.

It's been so lovely to have a chance to thread with Clarisse a bit more lately, because I have been a longtime enthusiastic reader of her threads and it's fun to dive in. As someone who isn't familiar with her canon, she feels so three-dimensional and lived in. She's also been in Thedas long enough now that it's left a bit of a mark, and I love how easily you walk the line between making her feel at home in Riftwatch and occasionally an outsider in a way that can be challenging with a long-tenured rifter. Can't wait for Cosima to continue to be a fantastic influence who thinks Clarisse should stop and smoke some weed every now and then.
