'Twas the night before DA4, and all through the house, we found ourselves wondering, is a nug analogous to a mouse?

 

The writers were fired, Cullen’s VA got weird, ten years have passed, and most of us are still here.

So as our computers overheat, none of them upgraded since Inquisition, we say thanks to the mods, still here of their own volition.

Here’s to a near decade of waiting, roleplaying, and friends, through tags and logs and only a few dropped threads.

May we all enjoy Veil Guard, a Thedas unfamiliar and unknown, though ‘Fade Rift’ has the cooler name, if I may say so.

how to play:

1. tag with a toplevel for your characters. (possibly include division + projects for ease of identifying coworkers!)
2. reply to other's tags with what your character got theirs for satinalia.
3. rake in those approval or disapproval points. we support both friend- and rival- mances.

As a member of Research, Mobius will receive a small phial of brightly-coloured, liquid dye, easily deployed by unstoppering or smashing its bottle. It accompanies a request to test it on a member of Scouting or Forces this Satinalia. Results may be reported back to Isaac, or Caius for a small reward *

Handed to Mobius one morning, in a small pouch cut from sackcloth, are an assortment of dried fruits and candied nuts. Some of them must have been saved from the past few months' of Cedric's rations, while others could only be an actual purchase. He'll explain off-hand that they're for mixing with his pancakes.

Mobius receives two gifts from Xio. The first is a scrimshaw whistle in the shape of a whale (which is him getting off easy). Xiomara says she is certain the whale who donated the ivory died of natural causes. They're all whale savers here.

The second is a book. It's called Journey into the Wondrous Void, and it has a ship sailing into a lightning storm with sea monster tentacles peeking out of the waves on the front cover. Beneath the cover it's the saga of an attempt to sail across the Amaranthine Ocean while each member of the crew succumbs to a different horrible death, no survivors.

She hasn't read it (obviously) and has no idea what it's about or if it's any good. She bought it just this morning because she's also his Secret Satina and she decided it wasn't right to just give him the same gift she was already going to give him even if she hadn't been.

A bottle of gin from a (semi-local) distillery. In addition, for the room to share, Vanya has provided a box of spiced nuts imported from Antiva.

For members of Research, Cosima provides two extra ration chits — two for tea/coffee, two for booze, or one of each depending on what Cosima has seen your character consume — and a woven blanket in a mid-weight wool from a local craftsperson.

Like his fellow Researchers, in his mailbox Mobius will find a dip pen with a resilient steel nib, outfitted with a reservoir to hold more ink than the usual. This pen comes with a wooden holder of unique style, and a note:
