Simon Tam

Character: Simon Tam (Firefly)
Occupation/Role: Healer type
A/R/N/M: 26, human, Nevarran, mage
Elevator Pitch: Circle mage who just wanted to keep his head down and do some good with his gifts turned apostate blood mage in order to rescue his sister from some Very Bad Men up in Tevinter. Doesn't really tell people that second part.
Where They've Been: Originally from the Cicle in Cumberland, traveled north to the Imperium for about two years and then hauled ass south again to Ferelden, where he and his sister joined the Inquisition in its early days.
Typical Day: Has a cot in his tent with the other healers and can be found there most of the time on any given day, takes meals in the tavern and spends some time in the library too. It's easy to excuse finding him anywhere in Skyhold however, if he's looking for River.
Plot Interests: Nothing specific at the moment, though I'd like for him to get more involved in things in general as well as some day have his secret get out. Maybe dramatically, maybe someone just figures it out, maybe his past catches up to him.
CR Interests: Being a healer makes for an easy in for new CR, and I'm ok with handwaving a previous visit to the tents to get past the 'introductions' part. I'm open to negative CR as well as positive...Simon tends to be prickly and it can lead to uncomfortable first impressions, but the guy really could use more friends to drag him out of hiding.
Character's greatest fear? Being discovered, particularly by the Very Bad Men who hurt River and having them steal her back, but also being discovered as a blood mage by the Inquisition. There's also the usual magey concerns about tranquility and overzealous templars.
Anything Else: i have no idea what i'm doing

I'd love for Simon and Eirlys to be friends, they'd probably at least recognise each other from the healing tents
