CR MEME!

You probably know how this works. Copy the form below, post it in the comments for each of your characters, and tag around to make plans for past, present, and future character relationships!
SPECIALIZATION TRAINERS
Your Name:
Contact:
Character: Name (Canon)
Occupation/Role: What do they do within the Inquisition?
A/R/N/M: Age, race, nationality, mage or not mage.
Elevator Pitch: Briefly, who is your character?
Where They've Been: Where is your character from? Where have they traveled? Use this to hammer out past CR!
Typical Day: Where do they live/sleep? What do they get up to? Where can people bump into them easily?
Plot Interests: Anything you're planning or hoping to do with the character plotwise, whether that's specific plots/adventures or a general preference for action, intrigue, etc.
CR Interests: Specific hooks or general preferences (negative CR vs. positive, skipping preliminary what's-your-name conversations, etc.)
Character's greatest fear?
Anything Else: !!!
Alysanne de Forestière
Contact:
Character: Alysanne de Forestière (Native OC)
Occupation/Role:
Glass cannonElemental (fire, mostly) mage, probably instructor for younger mages once she gets settled and figured out that's a thing that needs to happen. She's gonna be all up in your mage business, Inquisition.A/R/N/M: 48/human/born in Orlais, lived in the Free Marches for the past 30+ years but still thinks of herself as Orlesian and you can't convince her otherwise/mage
Elevator Pitch: Senior enchanter from the now-defunct Markham Circle, which... ended badly and she's not actually coping especially well (her coping strategy involves Not Thinking About This Terrible Thing At All, Thanks), but unless you ask her about it you probably can't tell. Specialist in elemental and arcane magic. Aequitarian. Vivacious, charming, generous, and intelligent. Also going to be prone to getting herself in trouble when she eventually gets into combat because a) she's really good at biting off more than she can chew even though she should know better and b) she doesn't know a single healing spell. :') Whoops.
Where They've Been: Born noble and raised in Val Chevin until she was twelve years old, when her widower father met and fell in love with a girl from Markham, went and married her against his parents' wishes, and got himself and his children disowned. Ended up moving with her father and younger brother to Markham, after which her latent mage powers manifested and she ended up in the Circle. The Circle tower in Markham was thirty-five years of her life, until a misunderstanding between a mage and a templar started a revolt, parts of the tower were lit ablaze, some people died, and others — including Alysanne — got away. For a few months after that, Alysanne was pretty much stuck on her own in Ferelden. If you ask her that was really a few months too many. Ferelden has way too many dogs. And now! She's in Skyhold.
Typical Day: I expect she'll be in the library, the tavern, and... around, in general, sticking her nose into people's business. Flirting with pretty women (okay, flirting with everyone, but only seriously with pretty women). She's a social sort.
Plot Interests: She's pro-Circle, so I'm open to either other pro-Circle mages being like YEAH THIS SHOULD BE A THING AGAIN or rebel mages trying to convince her the Circles aren't cool. She's pretty good at listening, even if she doesn't always agree, and I'm interested to see how her opinion might change or at least become more nuanced regarding the whole mage freedom thing. Other than that: she's still interested in Orlais and any missions that let her spend some time in her homeland are welcome.
CR Interests: Literally anything. Other mages, other gregarious types, Negative Nancies she can try to cheer up, healers who want to fuss at her when she inevitably gets hurt in a fight with a Red Templar or something and then tries to act like she's fine. Whatever. Come at me.
Character's greatest fear? Probably a close tie between becoming an abomination and dying alone.

benny makes a good ambassador for mage freedom, i think, in terms of both the way she approaches it and the fact she can engage with the pro-circle mages without getting dismissed as "over emotional" or whathave because she doesn't actually have a bad circle experience or an axe to grind there. her circle experience was basically "gay hogwarts with skulls".

also she knows like five sentences in Nevarran ok it's legit

alys would probably give her a sexy ginger problem, also, just saying
but benny is both "yes be interested in the mortalitasi for we are THE BOMB DOT COM" and also still all about the secretive bs of being a mortalitasi so they'd probably have plenty to talk about!! she'd also be interested to hear about alysanne's experience of the circles and why she's pro it etc

it could be fun to have a mage being pro-circle and leliana yelling about pro-freedom things as a non-mage and stuff, too :|a
ALSO herc likes orlais and the delicious cakes they make there, they can have tea and cakes idek
no subject
AND she's totally up for tea with Herc, she'd find him charming in a rugged soldier dude way.

In all seriousness she will be very frosty toward him once she figures out he's that guy, so it'll take a while for her to get to the stage where she doesn't... just dismiss his opinion out of hand. BUT. That said, I think it'll be interesting to work on getting them to actually, you know, hear each other. She's at least conscious that the Circles were flawed and need reform, so that's a thing.
