Occupation/Role: Grey Warden. Inner Circle of the Inquisition
A/R/N/M: 40ish?, human, free marcher, not a mage
Elevator Pitch: He's Grey Warden Gordon Blackwall, the most wardeny of wardens! Honestly, he's a random beardy guy the Inquisition found wandering around the woods in the Hinterlands by himself teaching farmers how to fight off bandits. At the time, he was one of the sole Wardens who hadn't up and disappeared, so he joined the Inquisition to represent the Grey Wardens and show that their random disappearance had nothing to do with the mess at the Conclave. He's quiet and keeps to himself until he gets to know you, but until then expect a level of wariness.
Where They've Been: ~~Everywhere. No, seriously.~~ This actually wont be very useful for CR, since no one knows him. No one. But if your character was in Haven before the attack, they might recognize him from there. Then he wandered off to the Storm Coast for a few months looking for Warden tracks.
Typical Day: During the day and late at night he is, almost without fail, hanging around the stables at Skyhold. Evenings/early nights find him around the tavern usually. He does woodworking, spars with the men, and chops wood.
Plot Interests: Yesssss, there are things that will be revealed eventually. In the meantime, he'll be weirdly... weird around the other Grey Wardens and he's always up for going out and hitting stuff.
CR Interests: Open to anything. I expect he might ruffle some feathers.
Character's greatest fear? Himself. His past. The things he can become if he doesn't put forth an effort to be better and live with a purpose.
Anything Else: I was gonna be all fancy and link a gif but my internet threw me the bird and stormed off

TWO THINGS!

Twisted Fate will be interested in casually hanging out. He might flirt a little bit but it's all friendly since he's dating Nerva, but he figures if Sera likes Blackwall he's going to be pretty okay with him and may invite him to a "friendly" game of cards a few times. (Friendly, because we both know he cheats.)

Alejandro will be terse and a little aggressive with Blackwall because he has a very low opinion of most of the Grey Wardens. We'll see if he warms up to Blackwall or not!

depending on the flirting, he'll either laugh it off or get all mumbly and awkward >:3 and any friend of sera's is well worth the time to chat with

as for alejandro, blackwall will attempt to civilly debate with him as to why wardens are the best ever

I have Ruby from OUaT who has been residing in the stables so she and Blackwall might run into each other there, and I also have this one Spymaster jerk, and! I have a senior Grey Warden au of Herc Hansen, which could make for interesting Blackwall cr :') things!!! stuff!!! maybe a catch up chat with Leliana to see if he found anything good while in the Storm Coast?

First: I play Nathaniel Howe, and they could be fabulous bros who like honor and wardeny things. Or they might hate each other. Either way, I'd love to check it out. Big hairy guys who grump and then call people "my lady."

Second: Pel here is a quiet type person, and I like the idea that she and Blackwall spend weeks in the barn doing busywork near each other and never once say a word to each other. Probably don't know each others' names. ~~Best friend I ever had. We still never talk sometimes.~~ Obviously that would be handwaved more than anything, but she's generally near the barn running her yarn shop and/or spinning anyway, so why not do so in companionable silence with someone who doesn't make you talk to them?

oooh, i'm curious to see how things will go down with nathaniel. this is my first game for blackwall so i'm still like 'i have no idea how that cr will go!!!'

and i am so here for best friends who just share each other's space and respect and silence. he'll love it and be so there for her. i love it already
