Character: Malcolm Reed (Star Trek Enterprise)

Elevator Pitch: One of the few Seekers remaining, Seeker Reed gives off a stern air despite his size, though he's the happy(?) medium between passionate do-or-die Cassandra and does-this-guy-have-emotions Aleron. Complicated history of feelings, tends to lean more moderate in opinions for a Seeker though is sometimes loathe to admit it.

↠ CONNECTIONS
Where They've Been: If you can name it, he's probably been through there, save for Tevinter, Par Vollen, and Orzammar.
What They Do: Cassandra's left hand. It offers him a place of authority he doesn't tend to advertise, much less abuse. Lots of training, keeping himself in shape and training others. Tactics man. Keeps an eye out for troubled Templars or mages. Good with his hands, good with his mind, bad with his heart.
Who They Know: Aleron is his closest companion in terms of PCs, though he's friends of a sort with Inessa, and he...knows of Wren. Has been seen around Corvo and the Outsider. There are plenty of people he knows, but it's hard to make friends with him. Oh, god, please be friends with him.
What They've Been Up To: Gearing up for Kirkwall, mostly, aaaand he's since recovered from the Winter Palace, so...that's about it tbh I've been absent lately.

↠ HOPES & DREAMS
Plot Plans: He's ready to step it the hell up in Kirkwall as Cassandra's go-to guy. He'll be doing plenty of rebuilding and getting ready necessary busywork, but once that's through, there's going to be a lot of inquiries into Red Templars, both for the sake of finding Wren's associate, and also because it's kind of a big deal to Kirkwall's history--if any people are going to have an idea of weaknesses yet to be exploited, it'll be them. Might quietly restart the search for the Champion and the Warden, unsure yet.
Development Goals: I might introduce his family, who moved to the Marches during the Blight. The relationships are Complicated. He's bad at working through Feelings, so that's usually fun to play with. Happy to see where things go naturally otherwise.
CR Wishlist: People he might actually be able to call friends are needed--he had a small pool of them to begin with, and now several have left. It's no easy task and usually requires a near-death experience at some point. I'm also super interested in negative CR given his position, title, and linefaced and occasionally brusque nature.
