Just from her description, and the fact that they share divisions and projects, I feel like her and Newt definitely need to meet. Weird rifters need to stick together right?

so UNFORTUNATELY she is going to be pretty 100% firmly in the 'well you just made a deal with a demon' camp re new eyes

so while i'm down for that as a discussion of its own, i also get if you'd prefer not to thread it, esp since it's a big new thing for myr

oh no I’m totally down with that if it’s something that’d come up! I imagine she’s not the only one & his feelings about the whole episode are not uncomplicated nor does he think “boy this is a great thing everyone else should think is great”

& he will want to speak with both her & Herian about continuity in Chantry Relations since he still has some respect for Wren’s political savvy etc

also if that’s literally dealt with a demon rather than metaphorically he’ll want to do whatever’s in a Templar’s power to clear any rumors of being an abomination, covert or otherwise, which could be interesting!

no yeah extremely literal. like in canon, healing something impossible to fix conventionally (in this case red lyrium) is a promise a powerful desire demon makes verbatim at one point.

there are some things she let herian in on i don't think she'd trust to myr at this point ('blood magic chantry forest', mainly, i have to check notes to see if there's anything else!!) and she would probably in general be pretty lowkey worried about his placement on the project. so that could be an interesting discussion! because like: he's got the job regardless

yyy right & it's something Lupeo held out to Myr originally, so he knows whereof that concern comes from. again, it's something he'd want to clear because that's a thing that gets southern mages killed if it's attached to their names!! (and also it ain't true which would chafe him personally.) so like, hit him with wrath of heaven or something.

also y! it could definitely be interesting--as said he respects her enough still he'd want to talk it through with her. even if he's not in Forces she's still a division head & he's a project leader. so from his POV they oughta get on professionally even if they've chafed in the past over how to treat with the Chantry & he knows she'll conceal things that endanger people.

But also: Enemies. Isaac has a bad reputation with several groups of mages/templars/nobles/inconvenient civilians, and he'll sell people out in a pinch. I'd love for him to fuck it up.

Quietly specializes in body horror spells, so if you're down to write some gross gore please let me know.

He genuinely cares about baby mages, and most rifters under twenty probably qualify as well. Sorry about your unwanted shitty guidance counselor.
