Negative and positive CR! CR that's both. Goal Oriented CR(tm) is usually easiest to pursue at first as Flint's pretty high on his own horse and doesn't spend a lot of time hanging out with people for fun. UNFORTUNATELY.

Hello, yes I know that I owe you tags, which I am getting to, but looking forwards: Yseult is going to Tevinter a bunch this month, so they should talk about that, and also possibly monitor or help or double-agent-do-both about the privateering plot?

But especially I'd love to get Nell more integrated into the general rebel milieu or whatever that Flint & co. have going. She (like Yseult) has access to intel that comes through to Northern Powers project and (unlike Yseult) is willing to share some of it if useful, so that might be an inroad if one's needed?

a) yes, lets definitely have flint and yseult discuss her Tevinter adventures either before or after said adventuring occurs? What makes the most sense to you?/sounds the most fun to write?

b) RE: Privateering plot - Neeeeeeeell. That sounds like a perfect CR inroad. Flint's going to be actively poking around and she makes sense as a person he might sidle up to given their Archon related chit chat/other Kitty Jones-related factors. Let me know if timing wise what makes most sense to you/doesn't threaten the precarious balance of being buried under October/November plot stuff and I can shove something rebel milieu related in your inbox.

and lbr Yseult's going to find out sooner or later. I want to say this may be a one tevinter thing leads to another scenario, but maybe depends on aforementioned point a) conversation in terms of how/when?

a + b) maybe let's do nell now and yseult after? or do like a quick inbox "i hear you're going to tevinter" thing with yseult before she heads back out for her three-city tour but save a real conversation of some sort til after, when she'll have had more of a chance to gather some intel? how does that sound vis a vis your plans and the prospect of being buried under them?

c) when exactly yseult finds out also depends on whether darras is involved, i think, and i'm not sure whether cee has pursued that or not but he is a rivaini pirate, so he'd make sense as one of flint & silver's sources depending how you guys are doing stuff. i know you're constantly inundated with sign-ups by everyone and their mother, but i'm still going to shove him at you will smith on the red carpet style. an actual pirate! from the place! etc.

Elevator Pitch: Competent soldier/mercenary type who will do basically any job without argument. Need a spare set of hands to carry something heavy? Sure. Need a stabbing done on the fly? On it. Want to talk about complex societal issues? Please no.

Division: Forces

Give him something to do. Literally anything.

He spends a lot of time at the stables and in the training yard. A fan of horses and dispensing horse-related advice. Also does a lot of guard and patrol duty, so come bother him and/or cause a scuffle near his post.

Someone to help him write reports so Coupe stops making him do the worst jobs because he doesn't file paperwork.

Has pretty average ideas about equality and mage rights as far as Thedas goes. If your character wants to either get in a huff over someone's bad opinions or learn about an average Joe's perception of the world, this is the weird sallow faced ginger for you.

A piece of gossip (true or not) about your character: Keeps missing the boat to the Gallows and mostly sleeps in the stable now. Oops. May or may not have to do with the fact that a dog keeps PEEING ON HIS BED.

Anything else: He's less dirty and smelly than he looks, I swear.

A PASSIONATE conversationalist. Wysteria will talk to anyone and everyone. Downside: also a gossip.

Spends quite a lot of time reading in or around the library with a focus on magical studies and enchantments. Spends an equal amount of time sitting around with open books pretending to read but actually being bored of research.

I'd love for her to make some mage friends and weird rifter friends and to talk a lot about mage and rifter rights and offer her unsolicited advice for HOW EVERYONE CAN GET ALONG!!

Someone teach her how to not kill everything in the herb gardens :(
