Goodness, these two are very alike!

Alayre honestly enjoys horseback riding and makes it a habit to travel along the mountainous terrain of the Frostback Mountains. Something about feeling the wind within his hair and being alone in the wilderness appeases his strong sense of adventure. He's also quite fond of swordplay and happens two be a rather accomplished dual-wielder. Alayre is ambidextrous and is probably the only Templar around to successfully like a rogue. The swords he possesses are both enchanted blades, one enchanted with ice and the other with light.

So I can really see these two getting along swimmingly especially since Norrington wants to restore the Order for the better. He honestly would agree with changing everything about the Circles and the Order as a whole. Hell, having trainings happen again at the White Spire and rebuilding the Mage College are perfect ideas.

As for Blood Mages, Alayre damn sure doesn't trust blood mages. Hell no! Nothing good ever came from a blood mage and nothing ever will. Alayre might be a tad liberal but he's not stupid. Blood Mages must die.

Awww they can ride horses together to get away from the craziness and just you know, be two men enjoying their bro-bond. Norrington is of course, more traditional - he fights with sword and shield but he's just as good with a single blade without the shield. The blade he has is made of silverite - it was a gift from his Knight Commander on his commission to Knight Captain.

All things are possible in this new world - he just really hopes that the new world outlasts the old one which seems in terrible danger from that frigging Magister. Who, hey blood mage Magister? Right up the Templar Order's alley.

Not at all. And that will be interesting considering how many of them are about.

Detlef seems like a decent guy, maybe a bit down on his luck. Surely nothing horrible is lurking under the surface...and he's a very talented healer, Simon definitely would admire that.

Elevator Pitch: charming lovable bastard with a pretty face. former con man and thief. the dreamer of the fab criminal duo that is Scipio and Rafael. clever, roguish, talented, great partier, loves people but is afraid of commitment. very cold.

Opinions: he's actually pretty cool with everyone. growing up as he did has given him a lot of tolerance and while also giving him the chance to meet all sorts of people, and he's easygoing enough to have very few strong opinions. but he's also very irritating and also be nice to his friend or he might start a flashy fight with you. and then run away.

Where They've Been: He's from Antiva City! Where he had a prosperous criminal career for ten years before a wee critical error. A list of Skip and Rafa's heists: Two Priests and a Dog, Drunken Watchmen, Drunken Watchmen Parts II-VII, Trick Pony Party, The Noodle Incident, Curly Shoes and Cats, Too Many Seals, and many more. If you make one up I'll go with it. They had achieved some notoriety before they took their new jobs, so their names might be known, but they didn't get out of Antiva overmuch because don't go chasin' waterfalls. spent a brief time in Kirkwall. went home immediately.

Future Plans: recently committed an act of petty thievery, without Rafael's help. ill-advised. might suffer some consequences soon. he will do anything to get socks. he's going to be involved with Warden stuff like it or not (he doesn't like it). also he'll still fetch anything upon request, price negotiable (socks please)

CR Desires: he's a Warden but he's bad at behaving himself. I kind of want him to get better. people to encourage that would be cool. teach him how to spell maybe. admire his skills at the lute. assumed CR is great. people to irritate, great. negative CR, great. and if you want your socks to have gone missing, or socks to give away, he's your guy.

special note: I REALLY WANT AN ENEMY. mostly for fun fighting. nothing too serious. don't be super charmed by him, ok! I know it's hard, but. try.

also PLEASE NOTE that I sucked at doing my log tags last month & I'm real sorry about it :c December and its lead up is busy for me. I will be returning those log tags today hopefully even though they're a little old now. feel free to drop them or anything, always, and I promise to be better in the future!

Simon didn't stick around long enough to reveal how much trouble he and his sister were, I imagine, but I can't see Mal being happy should he find out anything unflattering about the Tams after the fact.

In the meanwhile he could try looking at that shard in his hand. If nothing else he could make it stop stinging quite so much.

And again precisely why Alayre wouldn't mind working as Adelaide's assistant. It would give him a reason to branch out a bit and meet some of the Mages of the Hold. That and the fact he genuinely shows great interest in magic.

Simon is of the strong opinion (despite using it once to his benefit before) that blood magic is one of those awful irredeemable things that should be done away with. I'd love for Merril to perhaps slowly change his mind...

It'd mostly be paperwork (there is a lot of that) since she's writing up lecture notes and taking them from as many mages as possible to compare teaching techniques from various circles and apostate traditions. a lot of time in the library.

All this Templar bonding will be adorable! I'm eager to see where this will go since Alayre could use some friends. He's usually so stern and imposing. Though, excuse Alayre if he starts fanboying over Norrington's sword if it's truly well crafted.

Goodness, there's quite a few Blood Mages around. Alayre will not be pleased, especially if the Mage Council defends them. Just imagine all the havoc that would cause.

Pen it or muzzle it or *something* or else it's getting doped.

Occupation/Role: Kevin is a follower of the Qun that will be working as a merchant in the Inquisition, and also doing scouting things. For zero questionable reasons.
A/R/N/M: 30s, human, Qun?, not mage.
Elevator Pitch: Kevin believes in the perfect, unified world promised by the Qun. Really, really believes in it. He values serving a purpose and the whole way more than individuality or individuals, and will offer the creepy Qun elevator pitch to anyone. But he is also very friendly and loves to gossip, even if he does slip in something alluding to his weird fascination with blood and death in a cheerful tone.
Opinions: Qun, Qun, Qun. He isn't here to fight mages or actively convert anyone- other people have that function. But he doesn't understand people depriving themselves of happiness by not converting.
Where They've Been: As one of the converts to the Qun used by the Qunari to trade with the outside world, Kevin has been here there and everywhere. Just never anywhere for too long.
Future Plans: Right now I'm just interested in getting Kevin settled in. He and Cecil will end up doing a gossip news updates thing over the sending crystals, so that will be fun. Otherwise, I'd just love for him to get to know people.
CR Desires: Kevin is king of the backhanded insult and implied creepiness, so people who either want to call him on that or would be utterly oblivious would be fun. People that he can see as useful to try to start converting over (subtle and long term plan there, he won't be doing the book of Mormon door-to-door campaign) would be excellent. Local gossips to give him news...just everything.
Anything Else: Kevin also has a wonderful collection of burn scars on his face and body, for helping him stand out in the crowd.
