Man, Justice is going to be so pissed because it calls his own status into even more question. He holds Anders' non-transformation into something melty and weird as proof that he's no demon, but Bruce doesn't clearly look like an abomination either. Anders... Anders, on the other hand, knows that Justice isn't purely Justice anymore, and will know that he can't pass judgment. He won't be entirely pleased that there's a pure-demon abomination running around, because the Templars will (in his opinion) take any excuse to slaughter mages yet again, like they seem to enjoy doing, but while Anders is a hypocrite he's not that much of one to condemn Bruce outright. And if he gets the story feelings will be complicated, but at least Bruce didn't help the Templars take out more mages in the end.

Elevator Pitch: Fuckin' cutie who has no idea how she can help with all of this mess but really wants to help, please let her help.

Opinions: Pro-Circle, pretty live and let live about other people and creeds (though followers of the Qun make her nervous in spite of herself), interested in - but terribly confused by - all things political. Believes in the Creators, and Andraste and the Maker.

Where They've Been: When she was young, Alfsigr travelled quite a bit with her mother's clan, where she was given the foundations of her magical training. Being the spare of the spare and unable to find a place with another clan, however, she eventually wound up left in a human village and ultimately found a permanent home at Kinloch Hold.

Future Plans: I would really love for Alfsigr to reconnect with her Dalish roots. She has a lot of mixed feelings about being cast out because of her human side. She's presented/passed as human for a very long time and is starting to want to be more open about her mixed heritage. I also want her to research spirits and the impact they can have beyond the Fade. There's all sorts of potential for trouble there that I am totally into.

CR Desires: I love positive CR, I love negative CR. I want Alfsigr to make more friends! Or maybe annoy some people with how earnest and frankly naive she can be at times.

Anything Else: I have an open log that I'd be happy to add more threads to if anyone is keen. Seriously, bros. Come at me with anything.

Occupation/Role: New-Recruit, looking to sign up with soldiers.
A/R/N/M: 20 / Human / Ferelden / NOT magical he can't even pull a coin out of your ear

Elevator Pitch: Failed Templar recruit who ran away when he found out he'd have to hurt his friends in the mage ranks. Okay, so it was potentially hurt, but he's still a kid and prone to hyperbole. Cocky little noodle-shaped hooligan who pretends to be way more of a badass than he actually is.

Opinions: He's mostly curious about everyone right now. He's been so sheltered, everything is new and interesting. The biggest bias he has is against the Chantry, but that's mostly because they were boring.

Where They've Been: He is from Ferelden, hung out in Denerim for a while, and wandered in the direction of the Hinterlands afterward.

Future Plans: No plans right now! I'm open to exploring.

CR Desires: Positive/Negative CR is great! He's young and still pretty impressionable, and prone to believing people's extravagant crap -- he bought a cloak someone swore was magic. So he'd probably be easily mislead. Also hey, he was almost a Templar, so there's that.

Anything Else: OH YES HE IS HUMAN. I'm working on... that icon situation.

Wanna talk about demanding the Rite of Annulment against all the mages? After a couple of months of being held, as opposed to a year of solitary in the Kinloch dungeons? He's ready for this argument.

There are so many parallels between them, LOL. Not like... either of them really wants to admit that.

ARDRUNA'S KIDS

Starting with the new girl~
Character: Kallian Endris (Dragon Age Native OC)
Occupation/Role: She is BRAND NEW and so hasn't determined a role yet, but most likely will be a research assistant or helping out in the infirmary.
A/R/N/M: 23, city elf, Ferelden-born to an Orlesian mother and a Dalish father, spirit healer apostate mage.

Elevator Pitch: Kallian is a shy, timid creature fleeing to the Inquisition in an effort to preserve her anonymity as a free mage. She likes to be helpful, but she is very skittish about revealing her abilities.

Opinions: Pro-mage freedom; pro-elf rights; curious about Dalish, but knows very little about them; Andrastian-by-default, but not at all pious; not particularly interested in politics in general, but generally in favor of Orlais; has zero fighting ability

Where They've Been: Primarily Denerim's alienage and marketplace, on occasion would make business trips to places like Amaranthine or other nearby cities. This is the farthest she's ever been from her birthplace.

Future Plans: Bring her out of her shell! Make friends! Get involved in Something! She might get involved in helping with assorted research, or at the very least will offer assistance to the other healers in Skyhold.

CR Desires: Anything really! Mostly, right now, Kallian needs to learn how to start trusting people and making friends. She'll be polite, but distant otherwise. Worth noting, she's as pure as driven snow in terms of relationships.

Anything Else: She's generally soft-spoken, but there are a handful of subjects she feels passionately about, and if you get her started on them, she will let you know. Also, she totally hero-worships the Grey Wardens, as she believes she would have been killed during the Blight if not for the Hero of Ferelden.

Occupation/Role: Pirate queen/smuggler, Raider admiral, naval contact.
A/R/N/M: Late 30s, human, Rivaini, DEFINITELY NOT A MAGE.

Elevator Pitch: Sharpest blade in Llomerryn. Scourge of 4 nations, 2 coastlines and countless taverns and brothels. Queen of the Eastern Seas. Friend of Hawke's and Varric's and Zevran's. Also That Pirate Chick Who Pissed Off A Whole Lot of Qunari.

Opinions: Isabela is famously neutral on the subject of mages. Magic has risks, but it's useful. She's not afraid of mages, and doesn't believe the Chantry telling her she should be afraid. As for other races, she despises the Qunari, and rather fetishizes elves, but is generally neutral toward dwarves and other humans. She completely disdains religion in all forms. She doesn't really care that much about politics. She knows some high-profile figures, but couldn't really care less about their social status unless she needs to pull some strings for favors or needs money from them. As far as who she'll fight? Mostly Qunari. She really doesn't like Qunari. Not a big fan of templars either. And anyone stupid enough to annoy her past a certain limit deserves a dagger to the face.

Where They've Been: Isabela is originally from Rivain, but right around her 19th birthday was taken to Antiva by her now-late husband. She joined with the Felicisima Armada, and sailing has taken her just about everywhere with a coastline at some point or another. During the 5th Blight, she spent several months in Denerim in Ferelden, and about a year later, a shipwreck got her stuck in Kirkwall in the Free Marches for the better part of a decade. She took some paid jobs after that, taking her through Antiva, Tevinter, and near Qunari waters. Most recently, she's been sailing in and around the Venefication Sea.

Current mission is taking her to Jader for a little over a week.

Future Plans: Nothing super nailed down. She'll go wherever and do whatever seems like it'll garner her the most fun and profit. But she's always down for cards, drinking, dueling, private in her quarters (*wink*), or if you need a boat, she's got a few.

Also, she's putting out feelers for books that have information regarding the Fade/magic/that kind of thing. A favor for a friend.

CR Desires: Honestly, I'm good with whatever! Interesting people! Friends! Rivals! Lovers! You name it. If someone can get her to genuinely start caring about things though, that would be amazing (but will take a while, just FYI, and she's likely to be frustratingly stubborn about it).

Anything Else: She's not really as shallow as she says she is. But don't tell anyone.

welp SORRY JUSTICE and Anders and yeah Bruce totally knows he's taking a risk by being in the Inquisition but with the giant Breach and everything he also can't just stay in the sidelines and not do anything since helping people is what Bruce wants to do. Though honestly before he knows who Anders is Bruce might probably feel some sense of kinship with him because at least to him Anders feels like somebody much better than he is, what with an actual virtuous spirit and all that - that is if Bruce knows that Anders does have Justice, of course.

But once he knows that Anders is Anders, welp. Things are gonna change REALLY QUICKLY. Bruce won't write him off instantly since they are kind of in the same boat, but. He's going to be mad at Anders for what he did for a good while for sure.

Your Name: Gadgets

Character: Merrill (Dragon Age 2)
Occupation/Role: Cutest blood mage.
A/R/N/M: Twenties?, elf, Dalish, mage.
Elevator Pitch: Cutest blood mage. Merrill is bad at directions but very into the history of her people, to the point that she and her clan had a falling out (yeah, let's call it that) and she left her position as First to the Keeper. She got information from a demon (STILL NOT POSSESSED, ANDERS AND FENRIS) and used blood magic to restore an Eluvian. Since the end of DA2, she's been helping the elves in Kirkwall's alienage and arrived to the Inquisition with a group of them + a few strays they picked up along the way.
Opinions: EVERYONE IS SO INTERESTING though all non-Dalish cultures are still rather confusing to her (so much to learn!). Merrill doesn't really have anything against anybody and would also like to not fight if she doesn't have to -- but Corypheus and awful mean people mean she has to, so she'll do it.
Where They've Been: Her clan originally came from the Frostbacks before Merrill was born, then moved into Ferelden. Merrill was in the Brecilian Forest in DA:O and her clan shipped off to Kirkwall as refugees. She's been mostly in Kirkwall ever since save for excursions with Hawke.
Future Plans: Elf history things! Regular elf things! Blood mage things! Right now I'm mostly trying to get her established.
CR Desires: People willing to give her a chance once they find out about her blood magic would be cool? Otherwise, Merrill is generally still going to be pleasant even to people who are mean to her.

HAHAHAH that is definitely fine with me. he less INTENDS TO BE STARED AT than he just, you know, is aware that he is worth a second look and carries on blithely- she prob could have seen him in a training practise or like, damping himself down sweatily to clean up after before going inside. he is fastidious about cleanliness for a medieval mercenary. occasionally helping with battlemage staff training etc.

Yes, good. Those are excellent examples of things that Alfsigr would have noticed.

He could maybe notice that she doesn't actually have her own freaking staff (she borrows), while apparently still being pretty good at magic.

Fellow Spirit mage and teacher that's world weary and twitchy about templars? Adelaide wants to- well. Do what she's doing in their current thread. Sweep him somewhere safe and warm and feed him till he feels better, then put him to work teaching the apprentices how to not die and keep other people from dying. She'll defend Detlef to her last breath and-

well I don't know how she'll take the reveal other than real personal but she'll probably blame herself more than anders, tbh.
