What will happen will be this - Katniss will be friendly to Anders because he's friends with Bruce and Adelaide and those are her fake older siblings. Of course when she finds out he is That Anders?

So much disappointment. So much. That is not the way, mage-friend. For her it will be a very Gale moment.

Norrington on the other hand will be unfailingly polite to Detlef - he's a spirit mage who has a lot of reasons to hate templars and Norrington is going to see it as his duty to show Detlef that not all templars are bad. The system is broken and they have a chance to rebuild it.

Just no blood mages. Ever. FUCK BLOOD MAGES.

...and then he will find out he is The Anders and he is going to punch Anders in the face and walk away. Like, you killed thousands of people but you saved my men but you KILLED THE GRAND CLERIC but THEY MADE YOUR FRIEND A TRANQUIL FOR NO REASON and ARGH.

Punching him in the face and walking away seems like the most reasonable option.

Plus he's so much more angry at Meredith than you.
