k2 from your very first appearance in fade rift i was like "im gonna be friends with that bitch" and guess what, i am. i think you're so talented and the way you approach your characters is so deliberate even when they move in directions you didn't anticipate or plan. also gervais/coupe ship-that-entangles-you-in-in-law-drama-forever-and-ever-amen of all time. coupe and gwen's cr is still foundational to everything that i'm doing with gwen now and maybe always will be! actually! you're so funny and smart and you write tags that make me reexamine characters and concepts in new ways and i'm always trying to be better to keep up. you're a great friend as well as a rp partner and if i had to pick just one i'd take the friendship, but i'm stoked to death i get both.

So glad you came back. You are so thoughtful about everyone and everything, both OOC where I am constantly noticing you reaching out to people and facilitating our dreams or remembering little things about our characters in passing commentary and IC where your dudes are all so complicated (whatever Lazar wants people to think) and fully fleshed out. I love that there are no easy explanations or easy answers for any of them.

k2, i am in awe of your characters and because i've only really experienced 3, i am going to wax poetics about them:

cedric, first off - loving the guy, and maybe it's bc riz ahmed has the 'sad pretty man' look down pat, but he is one of your wettest men and i have to love that about him. the way you write out his speech pattern, too - one day hermione is going to reach over and squish his cheeks so the marbles in his mouth that make him mumble out his words fall out. and that will be the thing that lands her in the circle, i'm sure. i just like him, there's DEPTH and also there's DRAMA, and also he's INTERESTING, and also he's a TEMPLAR and also... if cedric were a dog, he'd be an afghan hound, i am not taking further notes

lazar, or as they should know him in darktow, loxley - i've had this messy bitch for one thread, i'm going to need more. it's going to be fun, trust me on this (at your own peril). also, admirably, what a jump from Sad Wet Templar to lazar, i honestly forgot for a second you rp both. damn - which brings me to

isaac - /CHINHANDS. as someone to literally read the mage rebellion post yesterday, i am in awe of the scheming and i hope to create opportunities for cr here because i am sure he is a delight and nothing BAD could ever happen

k2 I think you're hilarious and quick off the mark; you've got a great wit and a knack for rooting out fun sidequests to do at any given opportunity. I admire your ability to see a character you want to interact with and then craft and execute a way to get it rolling almost immediately, it's not an easy thing to do! That you're friendly and welcoming on top of this makes you an amazing catch to have in a game, you really liven things up. I like having you around in both a dwrp sense and also in a plurk/discord/whatever else sense so I can see your memes/random pictures of odd things you see during the day, and your cat, and your very good music recommendations. You're so cool :)

Also your characters are amazing — Lazar always has me fuckin rolling whatever he's doing, I love reading Cedric's little internal wars with himself and Isaac is still very mysterious to me but his recent interaction with Gela?? Unexpectedly mindful. unexpectedly demure

The joy I felt when you decided to return to the game was SO intense, for real. All of your characters are so different and I'm so attached to all of them. They all have problems and they're all (realistically) trying to deal with them in only sometimes effective ways, and it makes them so interesting to watch as they move through the world. I was writing Vanya for years without Cedric and now I don't even know how. Also, not for nothing, but Lazar tags make me laugh out loud on the regular.

I also so admire your plot brain. I feel like you consistently pitch such interesting hooks, whether for one-on-one threads or larger plots. Often they're things that as soon as you say them I think oh yeah, of course because they grow out of stuff that came before, but I also didn't think of it until you suggested it.

It was so good to get to chill with you in real life a bit this year, and I hope it can happen again sometime. Also: I still have the note on my desk that you and Katherine wrote me when we had pandemic brunch, and I look at the little cinnamon roll skillet drawing and smile all the time.

I'm constantly mad at how genuinely thoughtful you are both irl and in RP, where threads from fucking years ago get brought up and rolled around because your guy cares and you care. They are all such real-feeling people and I love to scratch different parts of their surfaces to see what I get, because even with CR from varied backgrounds there's an internal logic to everything.

Also because you mentioned it, the time we put the puzzle together in the dark was when you came to stay for the weekend because I was Very Pregnant and Chris was out of town, and you cleaned our whole house and kept me company just because you felt like it. I will never forget that as long as I live, it was one of the kindest things anyone has ever done for me, and you are stuck with me forever. you fucking asshole

K2 you're so cool. I genuinely love reading your threads and seeing what your little guys are up to. You write in this way where all your characters have a really distinct voice, and it's clear that you're always being really thoughtful about what you write, so it all flows. Some of your Lazar tags have made me genuinely laugh out loud, and your plot ideas are always so cool, damn. I'm really looking forward to seeing what else you get up to in fr and figuring out ways I can get involved B)

Confession: I'd already snooped on your characters long before you rejoined the game, so seeing you return was such a source of unexpected delight. You're so unbelievably funny and game for any nonsense, even if it's ICly silly or unflattering or uncomfortable, while also writing such lovely poetic prose and characters who are such complicated tangled knots of issues and I wanna understand everything about how they tick.

I'm especially in awe of how proactive & creative you are, too, in terms of generating ideas and spontaneous setups and helping brainstorm arcs and just jumping into people's inboxes to spark new stuff; it's such an inspirational trait ngl and I wanna be more like you. Hope you're down with me continuing to bother all of your characters forever, and I stg I'm gonna make naked spa fight 2025 happen 🔪
